Year 9 Thoughts on laptops

Below are some comments from members of the class on their ideas of how we should use the laptops when they arrive.

"concerning the laptops i would like to continue to use the core sience books for information instead of the just the internet science i like to write things down. i hope we dont have to take out our laptops every lesson and still use our books often."

"Todays lesson was rather interesting as it included further information on earthqaukes and volcanoes that i didn't know.
I had already read a science book that had the topics and learnt the basics".

"I think the laptopswill be good to used for researching information as it is easier than reading in books. It can also be used for tables for organising data."

"I think that the laptops could make learning science easier, but i am worried about them being stolen or broken if left outside the classroom. Assuming that the school internet works properly, they could be used effectively in class."

"the laptops should be used for creating diagrams and to do interactive works. instead doing worksheets we should do it on the computer as then it wouldn't be lost or torn and will stay there and to do the worksheetswe would have the whole internet. all assingments are to be done o the laptops and that's it."
